Dr. Whitworth earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He then completed his general surgery residency at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. He is the director of the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center at Piedmont Newton Hospital. Dr. Rogers and his wife Julie have four children. In his free time he enjoys gardening (he is most proud of his hydrangeas) and skeet shooting. He is very involved in many local community activities. As a retired Lt.
