Overview
I have dedicated my professional career to the care of patients with multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica, and related demyelinating diseases. This includes clinical care, clinical research, community involvement and public education efforts. I am medical director of the Maxine Mesinger Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Care Center, a large multidisciplinary care center founded in 2003. Located in the Texas Medical center, we are recognized as a Partner in MS Care by the National MS Society. As director of clinical trials, I have served as principal investigator in over 30 clinical trials of MS therapeutics over the past 13 years.
