Overview
Dr. Balaguru Sambandam has been delivering quality surgical care in North Texas since 2013. He is a board-certified general surgeon with experience in trauma surgery. His clinical interests include robot-assisted hernia surgery, the surgical treatment of hidradenitis and the definitive treatment of pilonidal disease using the novel gluteal cleft lift procedure.Dr. Sambandam earned his medical degree at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his general surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. When he is not working, he can be found spending time with his three children, writing computer software, or working on and racing cars.
