In 2013, he completed a residency in Psychiatry at MUSC and served as Chief Resident. In 2014, he completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at MUSC. Upon completion of training, he began working with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health at the Charleston-Dorchester Mental Health Center. He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the MUSC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences from 2014 until 2016, where he supervised residents and taught medical students.
