Originally from India and growing up in Kuwait, Dr. Tharayil came to the US to attend college. She went on to medical school at Harvard, and graduated in 2003. She obtained an MPH in International Health in 2004, and then joined the residency program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
