Overview
Kevin Lanclos, M.D., earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and then completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Lanclos has served the community for nearly 20 years as a primary care physician. He offers comprehensive preventive care as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart disease and arthritis.
In his spare time, Dr. Lanclos enjoys cycling, hunting, backpacking and spending time with his wife and busy family of teenagers. He serves as the Medical Director for Longleaf Hospice and the Medical Advisor for Amedisys Home Health. He is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and the Willing Helper's Clinic, providing care to the indigent population of Newton County.

In additional to practicing Internal Medicine, Dr. Lucas serves as the Medical Director of a local Hospice company.Dr. Lucas was chosen as a Harry S. Truman Scholar in 1997 while attending the University of Georgia. He was also chosen one of UGA's 40 Under 40 outstanding alumni in 2013. He and his wife, Julie, were members of the 2016 Class of Leadership Georgia. Dr. Lucas has served on the Leadership Georgia Board of Trustees since 2018. The also serves on the Board of Directors of his home Methodist church.In his spare time, Dr. Lucas enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He also teaches youth Sunday School and has coached his son and daughter in various youth sports. He also enjoys painting, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
