Dr. Anne Martini

Selma Amrane, M.D., is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, including gynecologic endocrine issues, such as polycystic ovary syndrome, as well as male factor infertility and infertility resulting from endometriosis. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications in topics such as preimplantation genetic testing and in vitro fertilization. Dr. Amrane earned her medical degree from University of Maryland, School of Medicine. After finishing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, she completed a 3-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Amrane has received several honors, including the Lewis Harriman Douglass Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Diversity Scholarship while in medical school. In residency, she was recognized with the Distinguished House Staff Award and with medical student teaching awards. Dr. Amrane has been an advocate for patient access to fertility treatment and has participated in lobbying on Capitol Hill with organizations such as RESOLVE, the National Infertility Association. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). She has also presented her research on multiple gestation and in vitro fertilization at several national meetings. A Maryland native, Dr. Amrane is excited and honored to care for patients from her home state to achieve the goal of growing their families. She is fluent in French and Spanish. Joseph Doyle, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in Boston. Dr. Doyle then completed a 3-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Massachusetts General Hospital. During his training, Dr. Doyle received several teaching and clinical excellence awards. His research efforts focused on oocyte cryopreservation; he presented numerous times at national and international meetings and has multiple publications. He also has a specific interest in healthcare delivery, which he developed through seminars in conjunction with Harvard Business School. Dr. Doyle is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, for which he has developed education modules and served as an ad hoc reviewer, and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Originally from Virginia, Dr. Doyle is married and enjoys competing in triathlons, as well as skiing and exploring the outdoors. Kathryn C. Humm, M.D., is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist who is passionate about working with patients to overcome infertility. Dr. Humm completed her undergraduate degree at Yale University and then earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts where she was elected Administrative Chief Resident. After fellowship, Dr. Humm spent seven years treating infertility patients and teaching Obstetrics and Gynecology residents at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Dr. Humm is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She has published abstracts and papers on topics including preimplantation genetic testing, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) outcomes, and the influence of race and ethnicity on IVF outcomes. Washingtonian magazine has regularly recognized Dr. Humm as a Top Doctor in infertility. Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Humm lives with her family approximately one mile from her childhood home.
