He enlisted in the US Navy shortly after high school and is proud to have had two careers in the Navy: one as an enlisted medic and an operating room technician and then returning after medical school to retire from the military as a physician. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University in Chicago and completed his surgery and urology training at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He was trained in Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery as well as all aspects of general urology and male infertility and prosthetic surgery in both men and women.
