His clinical focus is on managing diabetes, its complications, and associated comorbidities with the use of novel therapies as well as emerging technologies, including continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps. Dr. Sarkar is excited to start his new position with FPCA and help us provide excellent care to the Frederick community!Outside of work, Dr. Sarkar enjoys traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his 3 children. He has also participated in the community with the American Diabetes Association-Maryland Chapter and Greater Baltimore Temple.
