Because of those interests, I became one of the first in my family to enter medicine, receiving my training initially in India and later in the United Kingdom. Then I spent about 18 years in Philadelphia before moving to the Lehigh Valley. | Community involvement | I’m relatively new to the area and am still exploring, but one of my long-term goals is to provide service to an international organization that places doctors where they are most needed around the world. I also enjoy teaching children about Hindu philosophy and culture at my temple. | Personal interests | I enjoy gardening, mainly with flowering plants and vegetables, and traveling.
