Originally from Ohio, Dr. Jahangiri earned her medical degree and completed both her internship and residency at Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. She went on to complete a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. Dr. Jahangiri has been practicing medicine for 6 years. Her clinical interests include gastrointestinal cancers, blood disorders and blood cancers.�I believe strongly in providing high quality oncology care for patients on the Western Slope. Cancer is so scary, and I want to help patients understand their diagnosis and options so that they can decide the best path for them. My job is to serve as a guide and support through that process.�When not working, Dr. Jahangiri enjoys running, a good book and Broadway shows. Often, she can be found partaking in one of Colorado�s many outdoor activities with her husband, three children and shelter dog. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Owsley earned his medical degree in Kansas City. He moved to Denver and completed his residency at Saint Joseph Hospital. After his residency, he worked as a hospitalist in Denver prior to starting a fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. We would not just focus on the disease itself, but also on the effect it has on other aspects of the patient�s life. Overriding everything, we must never lose hope.�Dr. Owsley makes it a priority to be with his patients every step of the way during their cancer journey. He will fight alongside them and is readily available to assist in each patient�s unique journey.Dr. Owsley is an investigator involved in clinical research trials in the area of hematology and medical oncology.�When not at work, Dr. Owsley spends his time watching his daughter grow up. He enjoys watching sports and rooting for his favorite teams including the Kansas City Chiefs. However, his wife is a native Denverite and makes sure to balance out his love of the Chiefs with her love of the Broncos. He loves taking advantage of the amazing opportunities that the 300 days of Colorado sunshine provide.
