Kyle Ward, DO, decided on a career in medicine after encouragement from his mother, who was a post anesthesia care unit nurse. After completing his at residency at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, he chose to stay in the Appalachian Highlands to practice medicine. Dr. Ward enjoys being able to treat patients of all ages and understands the importance of listening to a patient’s whole story in order to best help them.
