Overview
David Kolessar is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in knee and hip replacement surgery and subspecializing in adult reconstructive surgery. I have found immense satisfaction over the years helping patients feel and function better, and am so gratified hearing I have changed their lives for the better. | Community involvement | As the father of two preemies (born 11 weeks early), my wife and I have supported research to investigate the causes of premature birth. We have been on the leadership team for the Philadelphia March of Dimes' annual March for Babies for several years. My daughter has started a non-profit to provide board books to families in the NICU so they can read to their children and enhance their language skills. I also have been an alumni interviewer for my alma mater, Dartmouth College, for over 20 years. | Personal interests | I enjoy skiing, hiking and biking with my wife, daughter and son.
