Originally from Minnesota, Dr. David M. Bierbrauer joined Cornerstone Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, a division of OCC, in 2011. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, whose primary interest is in hand and elbow surgery, as well as a secondary interest in trauma care and sports medicine. Dr. Bierbrauer is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Western Orthopedic Association, and Colorado State Medical Society. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NYU Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at NYU. His training included working with endurance athletes at the NYU Running Performance Lab and artists at the Juilliard School and Harkness Center for Dance Injuries.
