Stacia Smith, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement of the hip and knee. She enjoys working with people of all ages, whether it is helping a child with congenital problems or an elderly person with fractures, or arthritic problems. She enjoys helping patients decide on the options that will be most beneficial to that individual’s lifestyle. Jonathan B. Shafer, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in surgery to the upper extremity. After graduating with a degree in biochemistry from Rice University, he took a job developing a new drug to treat psoriasis for Allergan Pharmaceuticals. Cindy E. Bullock, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who specializes in the care of fractures, sports injuries, heel pain, and bunions. She completed her undergraduate education in California. She lived in Canterbury, England while completing post-baccalaureate studies in medical biochemistry. Since then, her education and work as a podiatric surgeon have taken her to Pennsylvania, Utah, New Mexico, and now, Skagit Valley, Washington. When not working, she enjoys travel, hiking, and watching football. She is an avid fan of the San Diego Chargers.
