Paul Mitsuyama, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist who employs targeted radiation therapy to destroy cancer cells while preserving and maintaining the health of tissues around them. He has experience in both high- and low-dose-rate brachytherapy for gynecologic malignancies and prostate cancer, respectively. He also has expertise in intensity-modulated radiation therapy and three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy for a variety of conditions including head and neck cancers, brain tumors, lung cancer and gastrointestinal diseases such as colorectal cancer.Dr. Mitsuyama is a strong believer in patient education.
