He also provides care for the Division 1 collegiate hockey championships, George Washington University athletics, D.C. high school football games and the Marine Corps Marathon. Dr. Raizman is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association for Surgery of the Hand, the Washington Hand Society and the Washington Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Raizman was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship and a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship. He has written scholarly articles and book chapters that focus on hand surgery, shoulder surgery and sports medicine, as well as presented his research findings at numerous national meetings.
