Franklin H. Chou, MD, is a graduate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, as well as a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at UPMC. Dr. Chou is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and obtained a subspecialty certificate in surgery of the hand. Dr. Chou is a member of several professional and scientific societies including the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery, and general orthopaedics. Dr. Chou currently serves as clinical instructor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
