Overview
Leah Hopkins, MD, FACP, is board certified in internal medicine and offers exceptional care for a wide range of primary care needs for patients 18 years and older. Dr. Hopkins graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., before earning a medical degree from Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Ill. She then finished an internal medicine residency at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital on the campus of Loyola Medicine in Hines, Ill. Prior to joining SSM Health Medical Group, Dr. Hopkins has served as an internal medicine physician for more than two decades. Additionally, she is passionate about teaching residents and medical school students. Dr. Hopkins is a member of multiple medical organizations, including the American College of Internal Medicine, the American College of Physicians, the Christian Medical and Dental Society, the California Medical Association and the Riverside Medical Association. When not providing care for her patients, Dr. Hopkins is active at her church and enjoys volunteering at local food pantries.
