Overview
Dr. Mallick completed her medical degree at the Northeast Ohio Medical University, where she graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She then completed her general surgery training at the University of Minnesota and after spending time at the University of Alabama-Birmingham focused on outcomes research, she completed an endocrine surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. She has presented widely at several national surgical meetings as well as published book chapters and a number of peer-reviewed papers on topics in endocrine and minimally-invasive general surgery.
Dr. Mallick specializes in surgery of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands, with interests in advanced thyroid cancer and minimally invasive parathyroid surgery, as well as renal hyperparathyroidism.
Nevertheless, she still enjoys the full spectrum of general surgery procedures, including gallbladder disease, hernia repair, and management of diseases of the breast, small intestine, colon, skin, and soft tissue. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
