Overview
Clayton Cooper, MD, specializes in family medicine and provides care for all ages with a special interest in HIV prevention through PrEP, gender-affirming care, inclusive primary care for LGBTQ+ individuals and medically assisted weight loss. He earned his medical degree from Penn State, where he also earned a Master of Business Administration. But, he adds, “After completing my family medicine residency at Duke University in North Carolina, I’m happy to be back in central Pennsylvania!”|He’s the recipient of awards including the AAFP Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education (2020), World Health Organization Young Leader (2018), Poets & Quants Best and Brightest MBA Graduates (2018) and Top 100 Worldwide MBA Graduates (2018).|In his spare time, Dr. Cooper enjoys running, hiking, swimming, boating, skiing, biking and just getting outside. He loves spending time with family and friends and traveling to new places to experience new cultures.
