Mohamed Saleh, MD, is a pediatric endocrinologist and is certified in pediatric endocrinology by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Ain Shams University School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt, and completed his residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Queens, N.Y., followed by his fellowship at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Saleh’s clinical interests include diabetes and disorders of growth, puberty and thyroids. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals in the field of beta-cell biology and pancreatic diabetes. He is a member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society and American Academy of Pediatrics.
