I am an otolaryngology physician assistant. I see patients from pediatric to geriatrics who may have concerns with the ears, such as ear infections, all the way to serious conditions like head and neck cancers. The most important thing for me is creating a trustworthy and comfortable environment so that patients feel that I have given them all my time to answer their questions, help them fully understand their health problems, and feel confident in our treatment plan and making decisions for their health care needs. The head and neck encompass all of the special senses, so they usually define us, help us interact with the world, and help us enjoy our world. It is gratifying to see someone’s face light up when they can hear for the first time or improve someone’s quality of life by fitting them with hearing instrumentation.
