I believe in a team approach when caring for patients that includes physicians from multiple specialties as well as physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists and others to provide the expertise and attention you deserve. | Why I entered medicine | Urology care incorporates several aspects of medicine. Although many patients require surgical management, others require medical management alone. Having all these tools, both operative and medical, makes the management of urologic patients challenging and interesting. My interest in urologic surgery also stems from the broad application of state-of-the-art technology. Whether it is robotic surgery, minimally invasive endourologic treatment of stones and tumors, or the latest treatment techniques for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BHP), I am proud to be able to offer these techniques. | Community involvement | I have participated in free prostate cancer screening clinics annually. | Personal interests | I enjoy the outdoors, fishing and hunting mostly, depending on the time of year. I also have a passion for food and love to cook. It's a shared passion with my wife, a chef by trade.
