Dr. Nazia Bandukwala graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Georgia. Afterward, she went on to earn her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Bandukwala completed her internship and residency in Urology at Detroit Medical Center. Prior to joining Piedmont, Dr. Bandukwala completed her fellowship in female pelvic medicine, urologic reconstruction and urodynamics in Miami, Florida, during which she also published articles on urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Additionally, she also served as a clinical instructor in the urology department at Michigan State University. Dr. Bandukwala enjoys serving the community - she is a recipient of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons Humanitarian Scholarship.
