Dr. Michael S. Ingber

Dr. Ingber trained at the Cleveland Clinic where he completed a two-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He was a clinical instructor at the Cleveland Clinic and received specialty training in the treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, female sexual dysfunction, and robotic and laparoscopic surgery. He part of the team which performed the world’s first removal of a kidney through a single vaginal incision. Dr. Ingber is an innovator in minimally-invasive surgery, also performing the world’s first reported single-incision “scarless” laparoscopic posterior uterine suspension in 2010. He is Board Certified in Urology by the American Board of Urology and has subspecialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Ingber’s clinical interests include the treatment of urinary and pelvic disorders. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of urinary incontinence and voiding dysfunction in women, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain disorders. He has a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of female sexual dysfunction, including problems with sexual desire and painful intercourse. Dr. Ingber has published numerous manuscripts and book chapters on urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, interstitial cystitis, neuromodulation, and the treatment of female sexual dysfunctions. He has presented at many national and international meetings.
