Dr. Amin A. Ramzan

Dr. Manrriquez completed her undergraduate degree in Human Biology at the University of California, San Diego and her medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco. She later trained in obstetrics and gynecology at UC San Francisco followed by subspecialty training in gynecologic oncology (chemotherapy, gynecologic cancer and risk-reducing surgery) at the University of California, Los Angeles. During this time, she also obtained a Master’s in Public Health-Epidemiology from UCLA’s Fielding School of Public Health.Dr. Manrriquez is a published physician who has worked and trained in various California communities under many national and world-renowned leaders in OB/GYN and Gynecologic Oncology. She has held several leadership positions including a board seat on the inaugural Minority House staff Organization at UCLA. She is fluent in Spanish. Several of the treatments tested at CBCC have proven to be highly successful and have gone on to receive approval from the Federal Government's Food and Drug Administration (FDA). These breakthrough treatments have changed the way many forms of cancer are now being managed around the world.As a result of his clinical research experience, Dr. Patel has authored several scientific papers in such respected journals as the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Clinical Lymphoma. He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA and is actively involved with the Residency Program in Internal Medicine at the Kern County Medical Center.
