Dr. Cara B. Cimmino

Dr. Gilchrist was selected by her peers as an Atlanta Top Doctor in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. She is the only African American graduate of the esteemed Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship program at Indiana University Purdue Institute. Dr. Lowman has won awards for outstanding research in the field of Urogynecology and presented her research nationally and in South Africa. She moved back to Atlanta to start the Urogynecology department for Kaiser Permanente in 2008 and lead that department for 10 years.In her spare time, Dr. Lowman enjoys spending time with her family and her Labrador retriever.
