She has also spearheaded studies investigating sex differences in cardiovascular disease and diabetes which have influenced primary prevention guidelines. Dr. Kalyani launched the Diabetes Management Service for Johns Hopkins’ Total Pancreatectomy Islet Auto Transplant Program in 2011.
