Dr. Kalyani launched the Diabetes Management Service for Johns Hopkins’ Total Pancreatectomy Islet Auto Transplant Program in 2011. She is the co-founder of the Johns Hopkins Diabetes POC-IT Guide for healthcare professionals. She is also the founder and past Editor-in-Chief of the Johns Hopkins Patient Website to Diabetes. Dr. Kalyani has been the Chief Scientific and Medical Officer of the American Diabetes Association since 2025.
