My research focuses on helping children live their healthiest life possible through nutrition, activity, and engagement in community activities. I have expertise in childhood nutrition issues including obesity in children and teenagers. It is such a privilege to be a part of families' lives. I have a special interest in patient-centered communication and am passionate to see physicians, patients, and parents communicate with each other to meet their mutual goals. I believe a shared decision making approach benefits patients and their families the most.
