Diabetes includes type 1 and type 2. I'm knowledgeable in insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems. I also implant the Eversense CGM.

After obtaining my MD, I underwent residency training in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in endocrinology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester. My clinical interests include thyroid disease and hypoglycemia. I also have a strong interest in education and am involved in the teaching of medical residents and medical students. Having trained at Mayo Clinic, I hold the Mayo philosophy of ""the needs of the patient comes first"" close to heart, and am a firm believer in evidence/science-based medicine. I am a certified clinical densitometrist and also certified to perform thyroid sonography and biopsy, as well as implantation of the Eversense subcutaneous continuous glucose monitoring systems.
