Alvin Su, MD, PhD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and pediatric orthopedics. He serves as associate professor of orthopedic surgery and pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, and an adjunct professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Delaware.He serves on the Editorial Board of the official Journal of POSNA (Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America). He has served on the committees of POSNA and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). His ultimate career goal is to promote the physical and mental health of all, by synergizing the merits that he learned from the East and the West. I love to help kids do what they enjoy, and help their childhood memories be as splendid as they can be. Being a father of two teens myself, kids’ smiles and laughter are always the light of my life. I’m passionate about all aspects of pediatric sports medicine, with an emphasis on the prevention and treatment of injuries in young patients.
