Overview
Amy Khera, DO, always loved science and found that medicine would allow her to meld that love with her desire to help people. After nine years as a family physician in Kentucky, she practiced obesity medicine for three years in Indiana. She loves family medicine, treating both adults and children, and helping them grow throughout their lifetimes. Dr. Khera sees patients age 15 and older for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness. She is especially interested in culinary and lifestyle medicine, emphasizing the basic foundation of healthy living. She wants her patients to feel supported and safe, allowing her to build trusting relationships. Dr. Khera grew up in West Chester and met her husband, who is a general surgeon, during undergraduate studies at Xavier University.
