He then completed a Complex Spine and Peripheral Nerve Surgery Fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center and Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery and Interventional and Surgical Pain Management at Semmes-Murphey Neurologic and Spine Institute in Memphis, TN.Dr. Spivak is a member of numerous medical organizations including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.His interest in clinical research has led to publications in the Canadian Journal of Neurological Sciences and the Journal of Neurosurgery, as well as numerous presentations at national scientific meetings including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Canadian Congress of Neurological Sciences.
