Dr. Craig Belsha cares for children with kidney diseases and related conditions. His services include: kidney transplantation; dialysis; treatment for blood and protein in urine, high blood pressure, kidney stones and diabetic kidney problems; continuous renal replacement therapy; and other kidney disorders. In his practice, he uses the latest medical technology and techniques, such as 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Dr. Belsha is a professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Nephrology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. His research interests include pediatric hypertension and blood pressure monitoring in children. Dr. Belsha is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology, the Society for Pediatric Research, the International Pediatric Hypertension Association, and the American Society of Transplantation. In his spare time, Dr. Belsha enjoys photography, woodworking, and rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals.
His clinical expertise encompasses D-Plus Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, Hemolytic-Uremic Syndrome, Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS), Kidney Stones, and Kidney Transplant.
