Danilo Noboa Gallardo, MD, is a pediatrician at MercyOne Des Moines Pediatrics Care. “I’m very passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle, which is the best way to prevent future diseases and create adults with healthy habits,” said Danilo. “Working with kids and seeing them grow is a magical thing and being part of that is what really makes my day.” Danilo received his medical degree from the International University of Ecuador and completed his pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health and Science Center. His clinical interests include mental health and its impact on community well-being. “MercyOne was a great fit for me because of the diverse population that it serves and the great work environment,” he said. Danilo grew up in the Ecuadorian amazon and practiced medicine there before coming to the U.S. During his free time he enjoys running, hiking and biking ourdoors) or simply discovering new spots around town. He also enjoys listening to music and is learning more about the art of fermentation including Kombucha, Tepache and fermented honey.
