Dr. Emily L. Mason

Dr. Alejandro M. Spiotta is a Professor of Neurosurgery \& Neuroendovascular surgery, Vice Chair of Neurosurgery, and Chief of Neuroendovascular Surgery. Dr. Spiotta received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2005, and his undergraduate degree in molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania College of Arts and Sciences in 2001. He completed an internship in General Surgery, residency in Neurological Surgery, and fellowship in Neuroendovascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.Dr. Spiotta is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a member of numerous professional and scientific societies including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is the principal investigator of the multicenter, international RESCUE-ICAS registry, and is the site PI of numerous NIH and industry funded clinical trials.
