
Overview
Dr. Vossoughi graduated from the prestigious Karolinska Institute medical school in Stockholm, Sweden. She completed a general surgery residency program in Columbia, South Carolina, and a hand surgery fellowship program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She is board certified by the American Board of surgery and she also obtained certification in Microsurgery from both MITIE (Houston Methodist Institute of Technology and Education) and St. Joseph Hospital in Houston. One of her special interests is trauma, and she is currently an active ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) instructor for other physicians. In addition, she has been engaged in Harris county medical society (HCMS) and worked as a delegate to be a patient advocate. She also served as Treasurer and President of the Western branch of HCMS.
