From a young age, I was active in caring for other children in my village in Haiti. This desire to help others and support both parents and children is what prompted me to pursue a career in medicine. I initially thought I would pursue a career in pediatrics. During residency, I settled on family medicine as it encompasses both children and their parents throughout life. It was through a personal connection with a family member that I also pursued a fellowship in geriatrics.What I want my patients to know about me:I want my patients to know that I am entirely devoted to their care as they move through the stages of their health journey. I seek to create a partnership with patients that has their full commitment to work together as a team on their health journey. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Family and extended family is very important to me. When I am not seeing patients, I try to spend efficient time with my family.
