Overview
As a child growing up in the Twin Cities, I always loved science and listening to people's stories about their lives and experiences. I studied marine biology and took psychology classes while attending Boston University as an undergraduate. While I was in medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, I spent time in a psychiatric clinic and found I could combine my interests in science and medicine. I completed psychiatric residency through the Hennepin-Regions Psychiatry Training Program and am board certified in Adult Psychiatry. I have worked in a variety of settings, including emergency psychiatry, community psychiatry, inpatient hospitals and traditional adult outpatient care. At HealthPartners, I perform psychiatric assessments and provide medication management. I see clients with diverse mental health needs and have a special interest in holistic care as well as serving clients who are developmentally delayed.
