Dr. Heather Curtiss is a native of Wisconsin. She received a BS in Kinesiology from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an athletic training certification from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dr. Curtiss then completed her medical education in Madison University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health graduating in 2007. She did practice for several years at Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin and University of Utah until 2018.Teaching is one of her strong interests with specific passion for musculoskeletal ultrasound and procedure training. Learners are always welcome. Research will always be an interest, focusing on injury mechanisms and physician burnout.She is married with 2 children. As a family, they enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoors on any good weather days. With children growing older, time is spent attending college events and enjoying the local arts including the ballet. She is also a team physician for a local high school and stays involved in the local community.
