I have always enjoyed talking and interacting with people. Since high school I knew I wanted to work in the medical profession. I started my health care career as a LPN working in the long-term care setting and then went back to school to obtain my RN-BSN and then finally my MSN- Nurse Practitioner Degree. I feel I am a nurturer at heart and thoroughly enjoy taking care of patients and their families.What I want my patients to know about me:When patients come to see me, they can expect a holistic encounter- meaning I try to incorporate care that addresses the patient's physical, emotional and mental health. The patients can expect a visit with me to be a safe and nonjudgmental. I also keep the patients well informed of their plan of care and keep them updated on any changes that may take place to the plan that may include changes to medications, etc.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:My hobbies include planting flowers in the spring, decorating my house for the various seasons and cooking. I also love being outdoors-I love going to the local pool and going to the beach! You may also find me at a Broadway show in NYC or shopping.
