Dr. Joseph Lucci, MD earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School. He completed his residency at Christus St. Joseph Hospital in Houston and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of California-Irvine Medical Center. Board certified in obstetrics/ gynecology and gynecologic oncology, Dr. Lucci has been in practice since 1986. He has held faculty positions at the University of California-Irvine; the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas; the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He has been named one of “America’s Top Doctors” and “America’s Top Doctors for Cancer” by Castle Connelly, a peer-recommended recognition that identifies the top medical specialists throughout the country who possess a high level of medical skill and expertise. Dr. Lucci treats patients of all ages. His clinical interests include gynecologic cancer, cervical cancer, human papillomavirus (HPV), ovarian cancer and chemotherapy.
