Overview
"Dr. Rodemann is board certified in gastroenterology and board certified in internal medicine. He completed a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh's Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, where he was named chief fellow. Prior to that, Dr. Rodemann was a clinical instructor of medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, where he had completed his internal medicine residency. Dr. Rodemann earned his medical degree at Loyola University in Chicago. In addition to inflammatory bowel disease and screening colonoscopy, Dr. Rodemann's areas of interest include irritable bowel syndrome and biliary disease. His particular skills include esophagogastroduodenoscopy, with treatment of variceal and non-variceal bleeding; colonoscopy, with polypectomy and treatment of bleeding; video pill endoscopy; ERCP; PEG placement; and nasal endoscopy with placement of post-pyloric feeding tubes. He is on staff at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis.
