He is also board-certified in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and specializes arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder.Dr. Johnston utilizes the anterior approach for total hip arthroplasty and instructs this less invasive, muscle-sparing technique to surgeons across the country.
