Dr. Judith N. Feick

Dr. Judith N. Feick is a board-certified, primary care pediatrician with more than 25 years of experience in private practice. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and member, American Medical Association, Wilmington New Castle Pediatric Association and the Medical Society of Delaware. I’ve always wanted to be an advocate for people in need, especially children. One of the greatest joys of my life is seeing a child get better — and seeing him or her grow up over the years. In fact, some of my earliest patients have gone on to graduate from college, get jobs, have families of their own, and their children are now my patients. I could not imagine a day without kids in it. I like to stay up to date with the latest developments in medicine, from current events that affect us all to the latest breakthroughs in research and pediatric treatments. I do a lot of reading (for fun!) on medicine and child and adolescent development. I read textbooks, as well as pharmaceutical and medical journals. I love the science of medicine and I love the art of it too. I do it so I can be at my best as a doctor, and so I can pass on any useful info to patients and families about how to stay in good health and maintain proper fitness and nutrition. Nothing is more delightful to me than seeing kids get better and stay that way. In my work, I believe this involves being willing to go beyond what is required or expected, and really connecting to my patients on a personal level. They’re a part of my life and I hope they feel I'm a part of theirs as well.Outside of my work, I volunteer with church organizations, help raise money for organizations and am active in a women’s group. I've worked with Family Promise, a group that helps the homeless. I've volunteered with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, and I have taught 4th and 5th grade classes on health and medicine. I have worked at career fairs at St. Mark’s High School. I have spoke to a group of University of Delaware students about medical careers. I'm also interested in mission work.
