Dr. Kristin Seaborg

Kristin Seaborg, MD, is a pediatric neurologist at UW Health Kids and an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She treats all neurologic conditions and has a special interest in sleep medicine.Dr. Seaborg cares for children and adolescents with epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders and other neurological concerns. She also treats children experiencing obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia and other sleep-related conditions.Before becoming a neurologist, Dr. Seaborg worked as a pediatrician for 15 years. She applies the knowledge she gained during her general pediatrics years to the care she now provides to children with neurologic conditions.Dr. Seaborg is committed to contributing to the overall health and well-being of children. She believes that partnering with children and their families to meet their personal goals is the best way to provide meaningful and impactful care.Dr. Seaborg is an active researcher in the fields of neurology and sleep medicine. Her focus is on traumatic brain injury, the interaction between sleep and epilepsy, and how obstructive sleep apnea affects children.Outside of work, Dr. Seaborg enjoys writing, going for walks in nature and cheering for her three children at their various activities.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Parkes Weber Syndrome, Sturge-Weber Syndrome, Glucose Transporter Deficiency, and Ectodermal Dysplasias.

Dr. Seaborg is board certified in Neurology With Special Qualification In Child Neurology and Pediatrics. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 6 peer reviewed articles.
