Lakshmi Gollapudi, MD, is an interventional gastroenterologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she has over eight years of gastroenterology experience, making her an excellent addition to our team of providers.Dr. Gollapudi specializes in advanced therapeutic procedures to diagnose and treat disorders of the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, gallbladder, liver, and intestines, including complex conditions such as swallowing disorders (dysphagia). She is committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care and ensures every patient is well-informed about their diagnosis and treatment options. Dr. Gollapudi has a special interest in advancing gastrointestinal health in women, with a focus on screening colonoscopy and diagnostic endoscopy tailored to the unique needs of the female population.After earning her medical degree from Osmania Medical College, she completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at New York Medical College-Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Gollapudi then pursued further focused EUS/ERCP training at New York Medical College–Westchester Medical Center while serving as an attending gastroenterologist. She later completed an advanced endoscopy fellowship with dedicated training in third space endoscopy at Morristown Medical Center.Dr. Gollapudi has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and delivered numerous oral, poster, and video presentations at national conferences. She is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (NYSGE). She is also a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
