Philosophy of care | I believe the physician's role is to educate the patient. As the doctor, I do my best to gather information -- solve the puzzle of what is wrong, and why -- and then offer options for how best to solve the problem. Along the way, I educate the patient about their condition, what we can do about it and what to expect. | Why I entered medicine | I always enjoyed working with people, and I always liked and excelled in science. The natural combination was medicine. Since keeping people in sports and activities is a great way to help them stay healthy and happy, I chose sports medicine. | Community involvement | I am a recurrent speaker for First Strides, a supporter for many local soccer and other sports clubs, and an annual contributor of time, money and expertise for USA Hockey disabled sled hockey development camps. | Personal interests | I enjoy running, soccer, diving, hockey, all sports in general and Disney.
